Organizational Founder:
Wilbur Bontrager
Mr. Bontrager holds a Masters degree in Conflict Transformation with an emphasis in Restorative Justice from Eastern Mennonite University. He conducts facilitator trainings in both circle process and conferencing. He has worked extensively with the Alternatives to Violence program both within correctional facilities and in the general community. He is a long-time community organizer for international and local peacemaking efforts and refugee resettlement. He has recently been hired by the NYS School at Industry to conduct restorative justice circles with juveniles as a means of transitioning them from institutional supervision to community life.

Co-director:
Dr. Mary Jeanette Ebenhack
Dr. Ebenhack has been a leader in nonprofit work for over twenty years. She has served as the Director for the EcoJustice Project, Center for Religion, Ethics and Social Policy at Cornell University, and as Director of Wyoming Ministries in Higher Education. She has worked for the Rochester Area Community Foundation’s Common Good Planning Center, and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County. Dr. Ebenhack earned degrees from McPherson College, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Claremont School of Theology. She served as an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren, holding positions in the parish, as a chaplain, and in campus ministry. Besides currently serving as the Co-Director of the Finger Lakes Restorative Justice Center, Dr. Ebenhack is the Chief Executive Officer for the AHEAD Energy Corporation, a 501c3 nonprofit assisting Lower Income Countries develop their energy resources.
