FLRJC Receives Award from GRCC
As Finger Lakes Restorative Justice Center has grown over the years, we have received more recognition from the local community.
Recently, we were honored to receive the Greater Rochester Community of Churches (GRCC) Faith in Action Award.
This interfaith award recognizes those individuals and organizations that serve their communities and demonstrate faith in action.
The ceremony took place on June 12th, following a dinner.
Everybody who was honored lit a candle and, at the end, it was truly amazing to see the amount of candlelight in the room.
Sue Klassen, our board president, received the award (a beautiful pottery chalice) on behalf of FLRJC and spoke a few words, thanking our supporters.
